ABOUT THE FILM FESTIVAL

Launched in 2012, the festival was created to showcase the best architecture and design films in New Zealand cinemas. Initially screening exclusively at Rialto Cinemas in Auckland, the festival has expanded into a nationwide event, with the 2026 15th edition reaching audiences across 13 regions and 14 cinemas. It has become a key annual film festival in New Zealand and is one of the largest architecture and design film festivals in the world.
